Summer Crown

Evidence of Summer Abound
when she knits her summer crown
Weave of petal, stem, and leaf
Magical land of make believe
Queen for a minute, an hour, a day
Letting the day unfold as it may
In sunflower castles, she rules her land
creating more lovelies with her hands
And when the crown does wilt away
She’ll knit again, another day.
LOVE, LOVE, MAMA

Oh, what a sweet poem. Did you author that? It was the perfect accompaniment to sweet photos of your daughter!
Blessings to you,
Valerie

How lovely! I used to make flower crowns like that when I was little from the clover that grew in our yard. This brings back memories!
Hope you’re having a beautiful weekend, Shawn!
